The IDEA StatiCa Viewer is a free cloud-based application that allows users to open, view, and interact with structural design projects created in IDEA StatiCa. It enables detailed visualisation of connections, members, and loads, providing an accurate representation of dimensions, materials, and structural properties. The Viewer is accessible to users without an IDEA StatiCa license, making it easy to share project details and collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders. Need to provide detailed project insights to a colleague or supplier who doesn’t have an IDEA StatiCa license? Simply share the IDEA StatiCa connection file with them, and they can access and examine the project—including all connection geometry and loads—using our free cloud-based tool, IDEA StatiCa Viewer.
Your detailers and Engineers of Record (EORs) can create a free IDEA StatiCa Basic User account, receive the connection file from you, and open it in the Viewer. They will be able to inspect the IDEA StatiCa Connection project, including all topology, geometry, and loads, and can also generate a DWG or IFC file for further use.
